A key ingredient
Easispice seasonings and spices are manufactured in Jamaica using the highest-quality local and imported ingredients. A key ingredient contained in most of our products is Jamaican Pimento (Allspice).
Pimento was first discovered in Jamaica and is indigenous to the Caribbean and Central America. Jamaican Pimento is considered superior to product grown elsewhere due to its higher oil content, resulting in a richer, more aromatic flavour.
Pimento is a very important condiment in Jamaican cuisine — especially Jerk and Escovitch — but may also be employed in other local dishes such as stews and curries.

Discovered in Jamaica. Prized for its high oil content and rich, aromatic flavour — the soul of jerk and escovitch.

The golden heart of curry
Fresh root and finely ground powder — the colour, aroma, and warmth that define Caribbean curries.
A key ingredient
Jamaican turmeric is prized for its high quality and rich curcumin content — the natural compound that gives the spice its deep golden colour and many of its celebrated properties. Curcumin is a powerful antioxidant and has been widely studied for its anti-inflammatory effects, as well as potential benefits for joint comfort, metabolic health, and overall wellness when enjoyed as part of a balanced diet.
Turmeric is the most important ingredient in curry powder and seasoned curry blends, providing the signature colour, earthy warmth, and aromatic base that define classic Jamaican and Caribbean curries. Beyond curry, it is used in stews, rice dishes, marinades, and traditional home remedies across the island. Grown and valued in Jamaica for both its culinary strength and its reputation as a wholesome spice, turmeric remains essential to the flavours Easispice brings to kitchens every day.
